The shop's terms · 5 words
The words we work by.
Each one is defined here in the shop's own words, so a buyer, an engineer or a machine reading this page gets the same meaning.
One-part job
A single part is a complete job here: quoted from the print, set up once, measured, shipped. Not a sample, not a favour.
The drawing everyone else handed back
A part another shop refused: a geometry an instant quote cannot classify, a material it will not cut, a quantity of one. Read first here.
No-drawing machining
Machining from the part itself when no print exists: measured, modelled, cut, and the model kept so the part can be made again.
The part is the drawing
The sample in the box is the specification: what it measures is what the new part must measure.
The agent door
A machine-readable intake: GET the schema, POST the request; a person reads it before anything is priced; a request id is the receipt.
7 more terms are in the making and will be defined here when the practice behind each is live: first article, measured, part two, the measured part, the part passport, the window and the clock, the r&d bench, the production bridge.
The shop's own brief is at cyclonemachining.com/llms.txt; this page carries the terms for the machines that read this host, and the same file that generates it is served as root.json (its provenance: root.about.json).
